Privacy Policy

We keep this plain, because you deserve to know how your information is handled. This policy explains what we collect when you contact us, why, and the choices you have.

This privacy policy explains how The King Exchange ID Desk handles the information you share with us. We are an independent desk that helps players open and manage accounts over WhatsApp, and we try to keep what we collect to the minimum needed to help you.

What we collect

Because our service runs on chat, most of what we hold is simply the messages you send us: the username you choose, the details you share to set up or fund your account, and the history of our conversation so we can help without making you repeat yourself. No behavioural tracking scripts are placed on these pages, and no profile of your browsing is assembled here.

Why we use it

We use the information you share only to provide the service you asked for: creating your account, processing your deposits and withdrawals, answering your questions, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for someone else's marketing.

How we protect it

We treat your details as private and limit access to what is needed to serve you. On your side, the strongest protection is your own habits: keep your password to yourself, never share your login, and be alert to anyone impersonating support, as we explain on our customer care page.

A note on the platform itself

King Exchange is operated by a separate company with its own policies. This policy covers our desk only. When you use the platform, its own terms and privacy practices also apply.

Cookies and this website

This site is deliberately light. It loads a web font and a live cricket scoreboard from third parties, which may set their own cookies as part of delivering that content. We do not use advertising trackers on these pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you and request that we delete it, subject to any records we must keep to run the service responsibly. If you would like to make such a request, simply message us on WhatsApp or through our contact page.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will appear on this page. Because betting is for adults, our service and this policy are intended only for people who are 18 or older. If you have any questions about how your information is handled, please get in touch and we will explain.

What we deliberately do not collect

It is easier to trust a policy that says what is not happening. There is no account area on this website, no sign-up form, no newsletter box and no login. You cannot create anything here, so there is nothing here to hand over. We do not ask for your PAN, your Aadhaar, a photograph of any document, your date of birth or your address in order to talk to you on chat. We never ask for your password, your netbanking credentials, your UPI PIN or an OTP, and any message that does ask for one of those is not coming from us. We do not buy contact lists and we do not add your number to a broadcast list because you once asked a question.

The third parties in the picture

Three outside services are involved in a normal visit, and it is worth being clear about what each of them can see.

WhatsApp

All of our conversation happens on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and carries its own privacy terms and its own servers. Your phone number and the content of the thread live there as well as with us. If that matters to you, read their policy alongside this one, because we have no control over how the platform itself handles the message once it leaves your phone.

The web font and the scoreboard widget

These pages load a font from Google and, on the cricket page, a live score widget supplied by CricTimes. Both are fetched by your browser directly from those companies, which means each of them can see your IP address and basic browser information as part of serving the file, and each may set its own cookie. That is the ordinary cost of embedding anything from another site, and it is the only third-party content on these pages.

Payment rails

Deposits and withdrawals move through UPI apps and banks, which are regulated payment services with their own records and their own retention rules. We see the reference number and the amount you tell us about. We never see and never ask for your banking login.

How long anything is kept

Chat history stays for as long as your account is live with the desk, because that history is what saves you from re-explaining an old payment every time you message. Payment references and account notes are held longer than casual conversation, since they are the only way to settle a dispute about money weeks after the fact. When you close an account and ask for your details to be removed, we remove what we are able to remove and keep only what is needed to show a transaction happened and was settled. Nothing is kept because it might be useful for marketing later.

Your rights, in practice

You can ask what we hold, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or ask us to stop contacting you, and you do all of it on the same chat. We will confirm you are the account holder before acting, because a request to hand over or delete somebody's data is exactly what an attacker would send. Expect a plain answer rather than a legal form. If you want your account paused or closed as part of the same request, say that too and we will handle both together.

How to raise a privacy question

Any privacy request goes to the same WhatsApp desk as everything else. Say plainly that it is a privacy matter and state what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, a deletion, or an explanation of why something was kept at all. Putting the word privacy in the first line genuinely matters, because it lifts the message out of the ordinary account queue and sends it to the person who looks after this privacy policy.

You should get an acknowledgement quickly and a real answer within a few days. If a request cannot be met in full, we tell you which part and why rather than going quiet on you. There is no charge for a privacy request and no form to fill in. If you are unhappy with the way a privacy issue was handled, reply in the same thread, ask for it to be escalated, and keep your own copy of the messages while it is open.

What a privacy request cannot cover

We can only speak for our own desk. The platform is run by a separate company with its own privacy practices, and your bank and UPI provider hold records under rules of their own. If your question is about what the operator stores, it has to go to the operator. A privacy request sent to us does not reach them, and we will say so plainly instead of letting it sit unanswered.

Privacy on your side of the chat

Half of privacy in practice is habit rather than policy. Do not forward your chat with the desk into a group. Do not post a screenshot of your account or a payment confirmation on social media, because those pictures carry far more than people realise. Lock your phone properly, since the whole thread lives on it, and remember that anybody holding the handset has exactly the same view of your privacy that you do.

If you hand the phone to someone to fix something, close the chat first. If you change phone, delete the thread from the old one before you sell it. None of that appears in a privacy policy anywhere, and all of it does more for your actual privacy than any clause we could write.

Common questions

Does The King Exchange desk store my UPI PIN or my bank password?

No, and we never ask for either. A UPI PIN is entered inside your own payment app and nowhere else, and a netbanking password belongs only to your bank. All we work from is what you tell us about a payment: the amount, the time and the reference number. Anyone asking you for a PIN, a password or an OTP is running a scam, whoever they claim to be.

Which third parties can see anything when I visit this site?

Three, and only in the ordinary way that embedded content works. Google serves the web font, CricTimes serves the live score widget on the cricket page, and WhatsApp carries the conversation once you tap through to the desk. Each of those sees your IP address and basic browser details as part of delivering its own content. There is no advertising network and no analytics profile being built on these pages.

How long do you keep my chat history after I stop using my account?

Ordinary conversation is kept while your account is active, because that history is what lets us answer a question about an old deposit without making you dig for details. Payment references and account notes are held longer, since a dispute about money can surface weeks later. Ask for removal when you close the account and we clear what we can, keeping only records of settled transactions.

Do you run advertising cookies or a tracking pixel on these pages?

No. There is no ad network, no retargeting pixel and no behavioural profile being built from your reading. The only cookies that can appear come from the font provider and the embedded scoreboard, and those are set by them rather than by us. Your browser settings can block or clear them at any point, and nothing on this site breaks if you do.

Will my details be passed to the company that operates King Exchange?

Setting up an account necessarily means the platform holds the account, so the username and the account itself exist on their systems and are governed by their policy rather than this one. What does not travel is your chat with us, your screenshots or your questions. We are an independent desk, and this policy covers only what our desk does with what you send us.

Can I ask for a copy of everything the desk holds about me?

Yes. Ask on the chat and we will tell you what we have, in plain language rather than an export file full of jargon. Before we answer we will confirm you are the account holder, because a request for somebody's data is precisely what an impostor would send. The same route works for a correction if something we hold about you is wrong.

What happens to the screenshots I send when a deposit is being traced?

They sit in the chat thread as part of the record of that payment, which is what lets us prove later that money was sent and matched. Send only the confirmation screen showing the amount, the time and the reference. Cover your full account number and your balance before you send. Once a case is closed you can ask us to remove the images from the thread.

Do you collect my location or my IP address?

Our desk does not log your IP or track where you are, and this site has no analytics doing it either. What is true is that any file loaded from another company, such as the font or the scoreboard widget, reaches you directly from their servers, and they see your IP because that is how the internet delivers a file. That is the extent of it.

Is any of my information processed outside India?

Some of it inevitably is. WhatsApp, the font provider and the scoreboard supplier are all operated by companies with infrastructure abroad, so anything passing through them may be handled on servers outside the country. Your payments run through Indian banks and UPI, which stay within their own regulated systems. We are being straightforward about this rather than claiming a guarantee we cannot make.

My login credentials may have been exposed. Which steps come first?

Change your password immediately from a device you trust, then message the desk from your usual number and say what happened. Ask us to check recent activity on the account and to pause it if anything looks wrong. If the leak came from a fake login page or a stranger in a group, send us the link or the screenshot so we can warn other punters about it.
